Welcome to Burger Bar! Since 2016, our family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving up the best handcrafted burgers and fries to the Colchester community. We aren't about fancy gimmicks or complicated menus. We believe in keeping it laid-back, casual, and delicious. Whether you're bringing the kids in for a family dinner, catching up with friends, or grabbing takeout after a long day, you'll always find a warm welcome and a great meal waiting for you.

A New Look. The Same Great Food.

We’ve been through a lot with this community. In June of 2024, our building suffered a fire that required us to gut the space down to the studs. It was a massive hurdle, but thanks to our incredible team and loyal customers, we completely renovated and rebuilt. Today, Burger Bar has a much-needed facelift and a fresh new vibe. But don't worry—while the walls might look different, we still have the exact same amazing staff, the same big portions, and the exact same recipes that put us on the map.

We live by the rule that the best burgers shouldn't be overcomplicated—they should just be incredibly good.

‍The Burgers: Every single day, our staff handcrafts and presses fresh, quarter-pound patties. No frozen pucks here.

‍The Fries: Hand-cut fries are an absolute must. We have over 400 pounds of fresh Idaho potatoes delivered three times a week. We cut 100 pounds daily, twice-fry them to crispy perfection, and serve them with every single entree.

I got the bacon cheddar burger and a side of fries and it was delicious. the burger was juicy and had amazing flavor and the fries were absolutely perfect, just the way I like them. The service was awesome. there were quite a few people so it was pretty loud but I had a good time.

Great Prices, Great services, and great food. I had a bacon cheddar burger with loaded fries. The burger was juicy with great flavor and fries are great taste with generous amount of cheese and bacon. My husband had garlic parmesan cheese fries and there take on a big Mac. Garlic fries are wonderful.

Having a quick bite on the road is my favorite. The Burger Bar totally pays off. I order chowder and Philadelphia wrap. Nothing I can say, everything is Superb! Marty is friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon.

The place was pretty packed when we walked in but they seated us promptly. Had the Big Texas burger and it came out super fast. The Burger was absolutely delicious! The price for the meal was extremely reasonable and I will definitely be back.Oh and I was very impressed by the fact they had Gluten Free buns which wasn't advertised anywhere.

Stopped in for their grand re-opening weekend following a devastating kitchen fire last year. The food was amazing. Everything was well seasoned. The burgers were cooked to the correct temperatures that we ordered. Prices are very reasonable. I’m so happy this great local business is back and just as strong as they were before.
